
Coface has determined the most successful companies in Central-Eastern Europe
(Vienna/Kiev, 11th September 2009) Coface, the global player in risk management with integrated services for credit insurance, factoring, business information and debt collection, has realized TOP-500 project. Within this project experts of Coface Central Europe Platform have determined 500 the most successful companies in Central-Eastern Europe. Following countries participated in this project: Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Rumania, Ukraine, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Poland.
Among three leaders of TOP-500 rating are 2 oil companies - Polski Koncern Naftovy Orlen S.A. (Poland, €22,7 billion of turnover) and Mol Magyar Olaj-Es Gazipari Nyrt. (Hungary, €13,4 billion of turnover), as well as a car manufacturer Skoda Auto A.S. (Czech Republic, €7,6 billion of turnover).
66 Ukrainian companies are included in Coface TOP-500 rating of the most successful companies in Central-Eastern Europe. Following Ukrainian companies hold the highest positions in TOP-500 rating: Naftogaz Ukrainy (4th position), Gaz Ukrainy (18th position), ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (32nd position), Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol (33rd position), Azovstal Iron and Steel Works (35th position) and Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works (60th position).
Coface realizes the similar project on an annual basis indicating the changes occurring in business environment of Central-Eastern Europe.
