Coface has determined the most successful companies in Central-Eastern Europe 2010
(Vienna/Kiev, 12th October 2010) Coface, the global player in risk management with integrated services for credit insurance, factoring, business information and debt collection, has realized TOP-500 projectfor the second time. Within this project experts of Coface Central Europe Platform have determined 500 the most successful companies in Central-Eastern Europe in 2009. Following countries participated in this project: Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Bulgaria, Rumania, Ukraine, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia and Poland.
Among three leaders of TOP-500 rating are oil companies - Polski Koncern Naftovy Orlen S.A. (Poland, €15,7 billion of turnover) and Mol Magyar Olaj-Es Gazipari Nyrt. (Hungary, €11,91 billion of turnover). These two companies ranked the highest positions also in the previous year. This year there is a new leader ranking third - Naftogaz Ukrainy (Ukraine, €6,61 billion of turnover).
45 Ukrainian companies are included in Coface TOP-500 rating of the most successful companies in Central-Eastern Europe. (66 Ukrainian companies were in Coface TOP-500 in 2009). Following Ukrainian companies hold the highest positions in TOP-500 rating: Naftogaz Ukrainy - 3d position (4th position in the previous year) , Energorynok -13th position, (a new company to TOP-500 list), Gaz Ukraine - 14th position (18th position in the previous year), Azovstal Iron and Steel Works - 70th position (35th position in the previous year), ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih – 82th position (32nd position in the previous year), Lysychanska Naftova Investyciina Kompaniya -88th position (64nd position in the previous year) and Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol – 91st position (33rd position in the previous year).
Coface realizes the similar project on an annual basis indicating the changes occurring in business environment of Central-Eastern Europe.
